The Festival is not just the memory of the past. It lives at the present and is the bridge to the future. Evidence for this is the participation of more than 700 children from 12 European and Asian countries in our festival. They will show their folklore traditions and dances and will give a hand to each other in the name of tradition and the better future of our nations.

Sliven is a town with rich historical past and cultural heritage, with traditions in the protection and popularization of the folklore. Constructive and concert activities are developed only in Sliven by a professional song and dance ensemble and ten children’s folklore dance groups, in which children of all ethnoses participate. The organization of the present festival is a point of intersection between the preservation of the cultural identity and the incorporation of the children to the dance art in the spirit of the European collaboration.
