Keramichar Folklore Ensemble, Macedonia

 
 

The Keramichar Folklore Ensemble was founded in 1954. Today it has 250 members - pupils and university students. Keramichar has given more than 3500 concerts so far.
The ensemble has participated in different festivals,  culture events and contests, and has won a lot of diplomas and awards, the most important of which  is "Silver Necklace" from the MMF festival  in Dijon, France. The ensemble has made and released a lot of records. The repertoire includes dances of various rhythms and forms, and the national costumes, which keep the traditions of the Macedonians, are very rich in patterns of red and black embroidery on a white background.

STATUTE
The organization of the present festival is a point of intersection between the preservation of the cultural identity and the incorporation of the children to the dance art in the spirit of the European collaboration.
