Letnichka Children’s Folklore – town of Poprad, Poland

 
 

The group was established in 1902 in the School of Arts in the town of Poprad. The ensemble is a traditional participants in nationals reviews of children’s ensembles.It is a member of CIOF. Letnichka has toured successfully in Poland, Hungary, Ireland, Sweden, France, Germany, Italy, etc.

The ensemble present traditional folklore, children’s games scenic composition, as well as solo and chamber performances of traditional music.

STATUTE
The organization of the present festival is a point of intersection between the preservation of the cultural identity and the incorporation of the children to the dance art in the spirit of the European collaboration.
