Children Folk Dance Group from Mindszentgodisa, Hungary

 
 

Mindszentgodisa is small village, situated in the Nord of Baranya country, 40 km away from Pecs. The folk dance group has existed in the village for the 11 years. The groups perform regularly at regional festivals and has successfully performed several times in foreign countries as well. The ensemble’s repertoire includes traditional choreography of different regions of Hngary such as Somogi, Felsik, Rabakoz and Mezofold.

STATUTE
The organization of the present festival is a point of intersection between the preservation of the cultural identity and the incorporation of the children to the dance art in the spirit of the European collaboration.
